      High Standard 22 Mag Derringer

I was under the impression that wallet holsters were illegal now, am I wrong on that thought? I like it though, it's pretty cool.

      AAR: Eagle Creek Pistol Range

It is good to hear about places I've never been and allow me to expand my horizons. I'll have to give them a try.

      High Standard 22 Mag Derringer

No, they are no longer made. On gunbroker they appear to command a pretty good price but I was fortunate to pick one up at a very good price.

the experience Yeah, I would have probably just walked out empty handed. Don't have much patience with those who disrespect a working man and his hard earned money.

"Guns in the Workplace" Lawsuit Filed

Go for it and I hope you win. I hope someday to be allowed to carry legally at places where there are children. After all, the current laws say we can't but that doesn't seem to stop the ones who want to kill the innocent.

      High Standard 22 Mag Derringer

Recently bought one of these little bad boys and I love it. It's got a wicked mean trigger pull since it's double action all the way and it's amazingly loud for a 22. But it's sure is fun to shoot and I wouldn't be scared to carry it in my front or back pocket for backup. :rockwoot:

Worst new gun you have owned

Many years ago I bought an FIE Buffalo Scout in 22LR. The cylinder was out of time and it shaved lead right out of the box. You couldn't hit anything unless you threw the gun at it. I traded it off about as quick as I bought it. Lost my butt on that deal, cause the dealer didn't really want it...

      S&W AR 15

I guess I will try to be patient and continue to search. I appreciate all the feedback. I must say though, that a lot of the suggestions for parts and complete rifles are listed on the companies websites as "out of stock"

      S&W AR 15

I have the skills to build one, that much I know and the satisfaction would be great. But I think I will be better off buying one that's ready to rumble.

      S&W AR 15

I have been told I can build one from parts much cheaper, but I am not so sure about that.

      S&W AR 15

I thank you for the responses. I would like to stay in the under $700 range if possible. I don't have to have a S&W as I am open to whatever in my price range.

      S&W AR 15

I realize this question may have been asked already but I wasn't having much luck searching, so here goes. Does anyone have anything to say about S&W's version of the AR? First time buyer and on a budget so just looking for input from real users for feedback. :ar15:

      smith and weeson 4506

I have owned a 4506 for more years than I can remember, it is a huge gun but I love it and so does my wife. I have Pachmayr grips on mine.

      Walmart Ruger 10/22

Personally I try my very best to avoid Walmart whenever I can, they cannot service anything they sell and over the years it appears to me they have gotten further and further away from selling American made products in favor of the cheap Chinese junk. Give your hard earned money to the local...

What to shoot out of a shotgun w/ rifled barrel

I think I understand the difference between using rifled or sabot slugs...just don't understand the price difference...what gives?

      What was your first Handgun?

it's kinda fuzzy for me, it was either a Jennings .22 or an FIE Buffalo Scout .22 neither were very good...that's why I don't have them anymore

      Question regarding snub nose revolver

I regularly carry a Taurus 650 CIA in 357 mag. its a 5 shot hammerless and I absolutely love it. It's not the lightest by any means but I've had it for about 8 years now and never ever had a problem with it.
