TLR-1, G2L for the AR, Brownell's/MidwayUSA Gift Certificates, Mesa Tactical Sidesaddle for the shotgun.
Mom called a couple days after the election and asked if, given how things went on the 4th, I wanted any mags or ammo for Christmas. To think, that's the same woman who once told me there'd...
Heh, my Freshman year was Morin's last . . . it was about a year too late IMO. I was pretty much self taught on Solid Edge. Most times, I'd do my classwork/homework for the week the night before, come in for a bit, then turn everything in and boogey back to bed (it was great being right across...
Thanks. I know what you mean though. I've always been in awe of the space program (I'm still kickin' myself that I didn't get a chance to go to the thing that Gene Krantz did in Terre Haute when I was younger). Heck, I stood outside for 2-3 minutes watching, came back in and heard mission...
He talked to me one day about his shooting too once he found out I was involved with the gun club. In one of the design "labs" we were talking about simple designs that revolutionized their field. A group did the "bullet" and he took about 5 minutes to explain to them that it was a cartridge...
I had a bottle of that at school (still have the bottle), got it on a whim and I think your description is about spot on.
Since moving to God's Waiting Room though, I've discovered Yuengling Lager . . . holy smokes did I miss out on something good by not going to Ohio more when I was there in IN.
I could just hear a low rumble. A friend told me for the last one he was at Cocoa Beach and could feel stuff shaking. The power in those boosters is unbe-fricking-lievable. Got these pictures from a friend's facebook (they were much further away, about 50-60 miles inland from the launch...
Just watched it out in the parking lot at my condo. Please, don't chastize me too much about the crappy pictures . . . I'm far from a pro and the camera has been beat up for 4 years at Rose :)
(This pic is kind of deceptive . . . the whole sky lit up bright orange like it was a sunrise at 7:55PM)
No, it's not the "other" engineering school . . . it's THE engineering school. :D

Not affiliated . . . unless you count the gun club
BSB, New Res, A-Res
Rose Bands and an occasional trip out to Don's place. :)
I get paid to build Machine Guns/Rail Systems in FL
No other degrees yet...
Nope, that's a Knight's Armament SR-16. Not the newest iteration, but definitely not preban. Why would you wanna deal with preban when you can have the taxpayers write a check for the newest whizbang gear. :D
Funny this one got kicked back up today. Got to play with the SR-25 Battle Rifles today in 14.5" and 16" flavors and they are most definitely a couple of very sweet shooters (the 14.5" even puts out a very nice fireball). I definitely stand by my statement of the SR-25 being my favorite...
Several reasons, I'm sure. Bureaucracy, PCAP vs. MIL-STD-1913 rail systems, all sorts of fun stuff like that . . . mostly bureaucracy though I'd bet. I have talked with a couple people about it though and they didn't see it as being the whiz-bang, uber-leet replacement that it was made out to...
Not this time of year, try spring break and 30 +/- miles north of my location then you'll be cookin' with gas.
Not here, my piece o' paper on the wall says Rose-Hulman and mechanical engineering . . . no mention of any interior decorating or fashion design or the like on there. :D
You ain't kidding!
I'm hoping when I finally find a place to settle down, I can get enough acreage for a 50-yard by 50-yard bay with a lane cleared back to 100 yards. Doesn't look like it'll happen anytime soon, land is still going for somewhere around $10k/acre down here in some places.:noway:
