Well, she wouldn't exactly have to shut her word hole, I reckon I could find something for her to do with it, and teach her about hard work. This is the woman that wore tampon earrings on air; not thinkin' I'd want her makin me a sammich. Since about the age of twelve I'd put most adults to shame, learned how to do about everything and did a lot of it, without having to be hectored about it. Some of the time I'd get paid. Now, if we want to discuss how (what she defines as) slaves are demeaned by the term, let's ask them.

This is the woman that wore tampon earrings on air; .

In case it hasn't come up yet , this is the same broad that thinks your children don't belong to you because " it takes a village " .

If the **** ever hits the fan around her , she's well and truely ****ed . Judging by the size of her ass she'll never get labeled a " hard worker "

Never mind all the " blue collar " working men and women that make this country move , which by the way would grind to a screeching halt the instant they stopped working .

I'm friggan sick of the race card and liberal ****tards .

My head is still swimming over this. I have sacrificed my body to my work. I hurt every day. I can not sleep all night as the pain wakes me up every 3 hrs. or so.
If I had worked any harder I would be the tin man locked up after a rain waiting on Dorothy with the oil can. My oil is 800 mil Ibuprofen.
Again, I would love to see the hardest task she has ever performed.

You will never been viewed as "hard working" in her eyes. You do not fit her PC cultural narrative.

I was earnestly asked by an old college acquaintance (can't really call her a "friend", not really) why I wouldn't vote blue in the last election. She was truly perplexed. I explained that her party was against everything I held dear, and there was no way I could vote for anyone who tried to make me feel guilty about my race, faith, having a traditional family structure, and my willingness to defend myself and loved ones via the 2A. In short, her party platform of "tolerance" seemed to be hell bent on ostracizing me as a potential voter. And now, it would seem that in addition to everything I just mentioned, I'm also not considered a "hard worker".

Maybe it's a coincidence, but she's a native of The Region, and lives in Chicago. Anyway, we haven't spoken since.

The progressive mind is a fascinating thing.

Pfft. My folks and I work hard everyday except Sunday (sometimes even on Sunday to get something out the door) to make ends meet. This hag wouldn't know a hard days work if it hit her in the face.

The velvet hammer at work again. As most of you know, the word racism was developed/created as a political tool to silence your opponents. Certain groups/organizations call people, that disagree with them, racists all the time. They want a one way discussion. These are the same people that tell you how to live your life while they don't follow their own advice. You didn't build that, you didn't earn it, you shouldn't spend your money on that pollution machine.......

You are going to hear a lot more of this drivel in the next year or so.

I will admit I do not work nearly as "hard" as many here. Heck, I'm on INGO this morning. (Wait, so are you. Huh.)

That said, I worked DARNED hard to get here, and made some tough decisions to MAKE these opportunities for myself. I do not feel guilty, nor will I apologize. This woman and her ilk have two choices, if they want what I have:
    1) go get it for themselves, or;
    2) try to take it from me.

#2 will be very costly to the both of us.

For me, it isn't about race, gender, sex, ancestry, or attractiveness. You may lift yourself up, help lift others up, or stay out of the fricken' way. Some of us have actual work to do.

Tearing others down does NOT lift you or anyone else UP. These SJW's would rather a scorched earth as a level playing field, than a high plateau.

It's not our first dance with this music. The term "McCarthyist" or "McCarthyism" was used as a get out of any debate free card by the sympathizers of communism; try to draw a parallel, however valid, with what they wanted and communism, they'd use that to shut you up, leave you with nothing to say. They managed to discredit McCarthy himself thoroughly even though there was truth at the root of what he said.

They'll use the word "Fascist" to shut down anyone that won't toe the socialist line, even though fascism and naziism were so far left they were essentially indistinguishable from full on communism. This time, they were able at the beginning to redefine terms to be contrary to the truth, then use those newly redefined words to shut people up. I stand in awe at the sheer audacity of it.

When the race card is laid down, I like to say "Your race card is being rejected; it's overdrawn". They expect you to be embarrassed and fearful of a word irrespective of its truth. Don't be.

This is a way to derail a conversation without making an argument or any addressable points. It's designed to catch you off guard and make you defensive while diverting the topic. The proper response is, I understand we may disagree but I'd like to keep the conversation focused on the topic and not get lost in a tangent. If the interlocular persists, disengage, you are not having a conversation.

Yeah, it can be used as that. But, as unrelated as her little rant was to the topic, I think she wasn't necessarily disagreeing, but just wanted to be seen checking someone's privilege on the show.

Checking someone privilege is also designed to derail the conversation without making an argument and is a veiled attack. It has no content and is often used in a way which is overtly racists. My response to such an attack would is to explain that my argument has nothing to do with my personal experience and I'm not interested in engaging in conversations with racially insensitive people.

The point is to stay on target and not let the conversation be derailed, while pointing out that your opponent is trying to derail the conversation with erroneous non-arguments. Avoid getting defensive.

I think I would agree with that but I'd probably throw a "**** you" in there somewhere. With her, she did indeed derail the conversation, but she wasn't actually disagreeing with what the other guy said, she just wanted to check the Hispanic male's obvious privilege.

That's exactly the point. The tactic is to evade arguments by throwing accusations. An argument can be countered, a baseless accusation can not be. It's a rope a dope. She wants her opponent to feel defensive without actually attacking him so that he looses his train of thought.

The important thing to remember is that it is a tactic. People who use this are not sincere.

Very well said! Right all the way around!

It's not our first dance with this music. The term "McCarthyist" or "McCarthyism" was used as a get out of any debate free card by the sympathizers of communism; try to draw a parallel, however valid, with what they wanted and communism, they'd use that to shut you up, leave you with nothing to say. First, the only error McCarthy made is that the problem was far larger than he realized. Even more distressing is that the executive branch had the hard evidence and the contents of the cables being sent from the US to Moscow, knowing who the traitors were and exactly what they were disseminating--and absolutely nothing was done about it other than crucifying the kid who declared that the emperor has no clothes--and it continues to this day in spite of the fact that the evidence proving that he was right has been declassified and is not subject to speculation or debate.

Second, it is always a comfort to know that I am not alone in understanding that Communism and Fascism are virtual duplicates differing only that in Communism, the state directly owns the means of production, and in Fascism, the means of production are nominally in private hands albeit with virtually absolute control of all business decisions applied by the state--much like saying that we own property even though we get our asses kicked off our 'our' land if we don't pay our rent to the .gov.
