This is the entire point of an HOA, to bring the weight and threat of the government into private property issues like parking. Otherwise there is no point to a contract whatsoever, they are all ultimately enforced by the government.

There is absolutely no government involvement in a private HOA. A private business agreement between consenting adults is not government. The only time government is involved is if there is a breech of the contract and one party has to sue the other to perform as they agreed to.

I am glad we live in a free country and you have that choice, and I would fight to preserve that choice. I would hope other freedom loving folks would do the same for those that want an HOA…
