yeah especially if we are to give an acceptable 2 weeks notice to current employers. This monday would put us exactly at two weeks from the academy start date.

The Merit Board will decide on Monday May 19. At least that is what my district commander was told today at a staff meeting with the Chief.

Dang , that puts us exactly at the 2 week notice mark IF they send out the emails monday as well. Cutting it close!

Yeah I'm not a fan of that either... I have worked for the same company for 11 years and it is extremely important to me to give proper notice.

Heard from a pretty reliable source that notification emails should be sent out tmr. Good luck to everyone. I know tmr is a very important day for all of us that are left!! Hope to see you guys in just a few short weeks at the academy !!

Yep. We just got a department-wide email stating that the merit board approved 60 to be sworn-in on June 2 at 1300hrs.
