How long is a typical contract? The 20% offer isn’t bad. Anything over 25ish is probably too much.
Yep, please post what they should earn per hour, make sure you get all levels and Trades under The UAW's contract, along with what benefits they each should get over the time one works for the big three.Well yeah. The marxists care about that stuff.
But, there’s a legitimate desire to see a fair solution. I think inflation has made their work worth more than they’re paid. I’d like to see them get paid what’s fair. Not a penny more.
Thats not the whole package of the contract. The 20% offer isn’t bad. Anything over 25ish is probably too much.
Ours were 4 years,I believe the UAW's are 4 also. How long is a typical contract?

Ok. Calling the Picket line a sacred place is a over the line for me.
If you disagree, I don't care!
Equity is one thing. Getting paid fairly does not imply the kind of equity we're talking about. I think some of the offers on the table are fair. The difficulty with the "equity" thought process is the same that applies to all of the social (blah, blah) thinking.
When one group of protestors get their "equity" then the protestors own promotion dictates that labor overall takes an upswing.
Consequently, cost of living goes up for all. Next thing we know, we all need more "equity," just to lead the life we are used to, including the initial protestors.
As we all know, and have heard time and time again about socialism; Eventually we run out of other people's money.
Depends if I thought there would be violence if I did. If it's safe, sure. Why not?Would you cross an Iron Workers or a Pipe Fitters Picket Line?
Everything has a price and that price seemingly always costs more for all of us.Equity is one thing. Getting paid fairly does not imply the kind of equity we're talking about. I think some of the offers on the table are fair.
Sure. Cost is one of the factors. Labor costs money/resources. But price is determined by more than just cost. Besides cost there's also supply and demand, competition, market perception (brand loyalty/reputation, etcetera) that affects price.Everything has a price and that price seemingly always costs more for all of us.

Would it be absurd if they took a cut and got nothing in the pocket the last two contracts? That's absurd.
Odds are, its gonna hurt.Depends if I thought there would be violence if I did. If it's safe, sure. Why not?
Which is wrong. And illegal.Odds are, its gonna hurt.
