I'm just hoping Fain doesn't show up for his next press conference in a "Free Palestine" shirt.

    :nailbite:
I would not be surprised if some of the UAW members were not also parts of those anti Israel protests.

I'm interested though if GM and Stellantis take the same line that Ford has done and tells the UAW that they have given all they have to give. Then just lets the UAW consume their strike fund as they manufactures make plans for relocating production elseware.

    Also

Usually I see things going on at the new battery plant in Kokomo on weekends while they try and catch up on the construction. But there was nothing going on when I drove past there today. I almost wonder if this is all giving Samsung cold feet. That is just raw speculation though. Would be a shame if they pulled out at this point.

I don’t get the sense that people involved in this thread on the union side are lefties to the point of siding with or condoning what Hamas is doing. So it would surprise me if they did. I also don’t think they’re generally marxists.

I think you’re taking this too hard. You have an opinion. I have an opinion. It’s not winning. We’re both entitled to our own opinions. We win if we agree. We don’t lose if we disagree. We just disagree.
Nah. I just don't know how to say I don't care I guess..

    Maybe I should just say I don't care ;)

Fair enough. But in the future it would help if you said what you’re saying instead if saying what you’re not saying. :):
You win is my way of saying it. I am trying to make you feel good about winning while extricate myself from the conversation.

There ain't no good guy, there ain't no bad guy. There's only you and me and we just disagree.

Ok. Calling the Picket line a sacred place is a over the line for me.

    If you disagree, I don't care! :)

"...hoping for a world that's more equitable..."

    :ugh:

Well yeah. The marxists care about that stuff.

But, there’s a legitimate desire to see a fair solution. I think inflation has made their work worth more than they’re paid. I’d like to see them get paid what’s fair. Not a penny more.
