Personal opinion noted, but you didn't address the question I asked. Aside from your statement not being quite factual, you haven't illustrated how, if your claim is true, how the military and overall nation has been weakened.

I really don't care about the question you asked. You assigned the explanation that people have a problem with him because they have chosen to have a problem with him. Within the last few days you dropped the race card on this issue. The bottom line is that anyone who would openly and preemptively declare those members of our society to disagree with him, especially on the grounds of their insistence on actually following the law, to be enemies who need to be punished has no damned business in any public office from president all the way down to dog catcher.

So, you agree that Trump would be an unfit president and/or dog catcher?

You made a claim, and I challenged you to back it up factually. So, IMO, it's not that you don't care, it simply that you can't satisfy the question.
As for the other part of your claim. I did not say, nor imply, that people that had did not like Obama chose to do so. That's way to broad, and he has given many a reason to dislike him. What I did, AM.... and won't backtrack from saying, is that those who choose to use the descriptor of "Kenyan" when describing the president, probably in most cases, have an issue with a black man in the White House.

Aww, isn't this cute. The #NeverTrump fit-throwers have their standard-bearer: David French. It's even hashtag-ready: #FrenchRevolution. (Let us know how that one works out for you, mkay?)

I'd hesitate to call it a movement. But I guess if the entirety of "nevertrump" is 375 users, then Trump supporters have nothing to worry about come November.

I think they believe themselves to be a movement. But it's basically the whiny front page editors at Red State, the globalist editors a National Review, and a few of their closest, elitist friends.

Illegal aliens and refugees headed toward our borders from terrorist-rich environments are not under consideration so far as I am concerned. Further, there is a difference between punishing people and not allowing the admittance of people who are either illegal invaders or seekers of entry who may be deleterious to our well-being until proven safe.

You made a claim, and I challenged you to back it up factually. So, IMO, it's not that you don't care, it simply that you can't satisfy the question.

No. I did not make a claim. You raised a point in response to someone else's post supplying an answer I happen to find insulting, specifically that people don't like the Kenyan simply because they have chosen not to. This in combination with your recent claim that, what presumably represents a strong plurality from the context of your remark, has a problem with him because he is black is also disturbing.

No. I did not make a claim .

You sad the below, that's the claim I addressed, and the when challenged, you weren't able to offer anything to support your stance.

Well, given that our present resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has built a foreign policy on apology, taking a posture of fealty, and stopping just short of crawling under the desks of foreign heads of state, and Hillary is for sale for anyone with enough jack to get her personal attention (which Little Kim could manage) and has demonstrated her unwillingness to take on a hostile group of non-state actors in Benghazi, she sure isn't going to push back. By contrast, I just don't see Trump sucking Little Kim's plumbing.

Below, is an entirely different matter

Possibly incorrect.... if you mean generally, as in people who refer to the president in other terms, then no. However, if one chooses to specifically refer to the president as a "Kenyan," then yes, IMO opinion, it is more likely than not that people have an issue with him primarily due to there being a black man in the White House. As I said earlier, it has been a common theme to paint minorities in the US as less than "American," and this simply is another example of that.

Obama is a Kenyan. He is not an American.
This has nothing to do with his skin color....at all. He is an illegal alien....Period.

If he was from Mexico City, he would be called a Mexican and still....it has nothing to do with his skin color.
If he was from Warsaw, he would be called a Polack and we would tell lots of jokes about him......but it has nothing to do with his skin color.

    1. OK, I missed the reference, so I will address it. It definitely weakens our position in the world when we have a leader who makes a deliberate display of weakness. You of all people should understand that it is not just the weapon in your position but the willingness to use it, and he has formed a foreign policy that has not deviated substantially from is launching his presidency with a world apology tour, bowing to foreign monarchs he should have treated as equals, and generally presenting the image of very weak leadership. One could also explore standing back and letting ISIS form up while declaring it a mere 'JV team'. One could also explore his encouragement of the so-called Arab Spring in which he, among other things, supported the overthrow of a stable leader in Libya and demanded the resignation of one of our few reliable allies in the region in Eqypt, precipitating chaos in both cases which benefited exactly no one who is not a terrorist. We can also point out the problem with arming terrorists, including ISIS groups in Syria and the present push to arm assorted groups in Libya which are most certainly terrorist groups.

    2. I don't believe you actually said that. As much I have said repetitively over several years about his questionable eligibility, you are converting a reference to nationality into a reference to race. While I do not use them, let me assure you that I know enough racial slurs that I could and would be far more creative had that been my intent. Also let me be clear about one more point:

I DO NOT GIVE A G**DAMN WHAT COLOR HE IS. There are unresolved questions regarding eligibility, which rather than addressing them honestly he has spent approximately 8 years playing three-card Monte with the documentation containing the truth. Eligibility for office is important. Further, he has made no secret of his disdain for most everything about this country and is apparently intent on doing the greatest amount of damage to it possible. He demonstrates strong socialist/communist tendencies which fly in the face of the Constitution that he swore to uphold and defend, yet serves as one of the very domestic enemies he swore to defend it against, as demonstrated by his ongoing efforts to circumvent it in the effort to further a very anticonstitutional agenda.

Oh, I understand. I'm white, so I couldn't possible have any reason for having a problem with him other than that he is black.

OK, we are all racists in spite of our actual beliefs?

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. Why should we not have serious doubts regarding minorities who hold race as the first 8 issues on their top 10 political list? If what you just posted is true, then explain how it is possible that so many of us would vote for Allen West for president in a heartbeat.

Being white and disliking Obama isn't the litmus test. It's how you express your dislike. Rather than address his skills, or lack there of, you resort to calling him "Kenyan," which has no bearing in the job he has as president. The word strips him of his identity as an American. And you choose to completely believe he is not an American, then yes, that probably is because you are white.

Trump hate is strong...Very strong....Me think strong Trump hate makes for strong candidate...Me think Trump win big...Me think folks that hate on Trump would get bent out of shape if folks hate that strong on Obama...Me think Hank Jr can no longer ask on Monday nights "If we are ready for some football?" because he compared Obama to Hitler...Me think if someone compare Trump to Hitler they are considered very cool and would get their own TV show (if they do not have one already...)

Me think establishment Republicans, Liberals, Democrats, actors, actresses, pop singers, Libertarians, world leaders, et al heads are going to explode this November....

Me think the powers to be are losing their heads because they are losing their power....Me think actress Jennifer Lawrence stalking Trump at a concert with her security guards so she could get a video of her saying "**** off Trump" would be treated differently if someone (Rush Limbaugh maybe???) did that to Obama...Me thinks Obama is protected by magic shield that protects him from criticism...

Me think Trump don't need magic shield...Me think Trump hate make Trump more powerful...Me say...Keep trashing Trump...It's working.....

It has been weakened at its core - the fighting man. Eight years of endless war. Multiple deployments for many soldiers and a Viet Nam-like lack of a plan to win and shifting, largely political objectives.

The men who fight the wars politicians get us into - no matter how stupidly they are prosecuted - are exhausted
