He's had more to say today about the insignificant Elizabeth Warren than any of the SCOTUS decisions.

That's part of his "genius". He's great at attacking people but is rather hit and miss when it comes to articulating a position on an issue. When he attacks a person like Warren, it presents the illusion he is also against her positions without having to explain his. He alludes to a position without ever committing to it.

This is Trump's wheelhouse. He should ignore everything else, probably including the wall, and talk about terrorism. Meanwhile, Daesh and lone wolves will help him get elected.

US election: 'I like waterboarding a lot', says Donald Trump - BBC News

Republican Donald Trump has repeated calls for the return of waterboarding against Islamic State militants, saying: "I like it a lot."
His comments at a rally in Ohio came hours after suicide bombers killed 41 people at an airport in Istanbul.
"You have to fight fire with fire," said the Republican's likely nominee, after referring to IS beheadings.
    ...
"We have to fight so viciously and violently because we're dealing with violent people," Mr Trump said.

    And in counterpoint, HRC said:
Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton, who will face Mr Trump in November's election, said in response to the attacks in Istanbul that the US "cannot retreat".
"We must deepen our co-operation with our allies and partners in the Middle East and Europe to take on this threat".

Trump is a leader, that's for sure. HRC just isn't.

I didn't know that knife-fight Nazi thing in CA was Trump-related. I almost posted it here as a joke... but... hell

Violent Pro-Trump Neo-Nazis to Crash GOP Convention - The Daily Beast

“We’re essentially just going to show up and make sure that the Donald Trump supporters are defended from the leftist thugs,” Matt Parrott, spokesman for the white-nationalist Traditionalist Worker Party, told McClatchy, claiming that roughly 30 members of the party would head to Ohio in July.

    I'm OK with that

Trump is on to something. We had problems with these types of people in the early years of our republic. We tried to make friends with them and discovered that this doesn't work. We tried bribing them and found that it doesn't work any longer than it takes for the check to clear, so to speak. We sent Commodore Decatur to kick the dogsh*t out of them and went a long time without having any more significant trouble. Aside from adopting new tools, these people have not changed since approximately 700 AD. One might expect the same approach with the same people to yield the same results.

If only we knew what motivated those people.

You would hope Trump would hear about this, decline the offer, and ask for some other group to step in. It really doesn't paint an all too flattering picture of trump supporters being escorted by Nazis. If the NOI or NBBP did the same, I'd make clear, that even if I needed their protection, I prefer to rely on myself rather than them and their trashy politics.

Apparently the NRA and Oz need to ask you how to do it then?

Based on your posts, I'm more concerned about whether you understand it, frankly.

I know the NRA does. I'm not sure about Oz. (Although I do appreciate his service, he's being used by people with an agenda. Again.)

Ku Klux Klan dreams of rising again 150 years after founding - Associated Press

The current hot-button issue for Klan members — fighting immigration and closing U.S. borders — is one of the most talked-about topics in the presidential election. Klan leaders say Donald Trump's immigration position and his ascendancy in the GOP are signs things are going their way.

"You know, we began 40 years ago saying we need to build a wall," Arkansas-based Klan leader Thomas Robb said.

Freedom of association. Freedom of speech. 'Murica.

The rest of us can counter-protest, etc.

I'm old enough to remember David Duke and I'm confident the KKK isn't going to get anywhere near the traction they had even in the 1980s. Millenials just aren't joiners like that.
