Ive been thinking on a Sig 1911 lately. Im a little torn. Ive got some other stuff Id like to fund but Ive got the scratch for a Wesson. But Ive been kinda thinking maybe a Sig Tacops instead and put some money into one of my ARs and probably still have enough left over for another gun. Decisions... decisions.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I hadn't tried contacting them yet, as I wanted to get some .357 Sig SD ammo so I could carry my P229 while the Legion is being worked on. I'll PM you if I need it

Im afraid I will be disappointed in the Tacops but its the one Im leaning toward. I have had multiple 1911s including 2 trps but I always find fault and dump them. Not sure why. :/

I love my TacOps. Very soft shooting for a .45 and extremely accurate.

That's a ridiculous price to pay for a DA/SA version. I see them frequently on GB for $1050

Any Sig 225 owners here that replaced baseplate? If so with what.? My new mag holder is tight to my side and the stock plates are absolutely skin tearing the crap out of me!! Need some advice on what to switch to. I contacted mag pro to see if they would sell me the baseplates. Long shot but worth a try.
