I'm totally good with eliminating EPA. Also Education department. Carter made it cabinet level in '79 because we were falling behind vs other countries. It's only gotten worse since then. Nuke it. There are a few other cabinet level departments that should be axed. Homeland security should be restructured and eliminate some needless crap.

At least they've identified themselves. We're talking about deputy director stuff so I'd say they should probably be invited to leave. Not that I'm totally on board with Trump's actions WRT immigration. But we need a border security agency, albeit less intrusive to citizens. They can get ****ed with their inland check points.

I find it hard to find fault with what those guys said.

The letter suggests splitting ICE into two separate agencies that focus separately on homeland security and deportation, which the agents say would “improve transparency, efficiency and effectiveness.”

Separating the immigration part from the security would make sense. Seems like the Title is very misleading.

I'm missing the point. Is the church supposed to keep silent concerning things that view as morally bankrupt if the offender is a govt entity? I would honestly would be concerned if a "church," believed that taking someone's kids and sending them to some far off place, without the parents knowledge was an "ok" thing to do.

It's cute that you think that they are protesting a "government entity." It's damn clear who they are protesting, under the guise of "morality." I didn't see any fenced nativity scenes when the exact same thing was happening under St. Barack for 8 years.

Over the weekend I was in over in the great state of Ohio.

There was a guy in a coffee shop with a ACLU shirt on that said "dissent is patriotic".
I have to wonder if he thought "dissent is patriotic" from 2008-2016
By looking at him I would guess "dissent is racist" during that time frame.

This is apparently incorrect. I was surprised to learn, that people who went through the correct channels, to claim asylum, also have had their kids taken from them. And get this, people who have entered illegally, and deported, were not reunited with their children, when they were expelled. That a big W-T-F.

Ignoring your complete misunderstanding of what is actually in the Johnson amendment, didn't President Trump promised to "totally destroy" it and sign an executive order to that effect?
