    Trump, just now

I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico. The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended. Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border. This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you!

New Mexico Suing President Trump After Gov Pulls Natl. Guard- Gets Flooded With Illegals

    https://rightwingtribune.com/2019/06/11/new-mexico-suing/

This is just cray! Illegals cross the border with kids and:

    1. It's inhumane to detain them until their asylum claims are adjudicated, so you've gotta let them go after 20 days.

    2. It's inhumane to put them on buses and transport them to sanctuary cities.

    3. And, now, in this article, according to New Mexico, it's inhumane to simply let them go immediately after "accepting" their filing for asylum.

The cray part is that there are no doubt activist "judges" who agree with all three of the above. Sheesh!

Maybe the activist judges should be given guardianship of the asylum seekers such that they would be responsible for their actions while they're here. Oh, and they should provide lodging for them too.

    True - both.

My mental Venn diagram of their three stated positions means that anything other than an open border with free transportation to the destination of the illegal immigrants' choosing - is inhumane.

    That **** cray!

Agreed. Beyond this, one wonders how Roy Bean was legendary for his shenanigans as a judge but today equal and worse are just another day in court.

JMHO, but in Bean's day, there existed reporters and journalists - not the case today.

Progressives and the MSM propaganda arm KNOW that their many/most of their guiding principles are rejected by super-majorities of the voting populace. In this case, 80% of voters reject open borders, so they must focus hysteria on discrete items that build to open borders and hope no one puts all of the pieces together.

They might call it a "humane border security policy".... similar in obfuscation to "common-sense gun control". They really want open borders and a dis-armed populace.

So it appears that the liberals are pushing for releasing illegals into the general publlic but now border towns are complaining that they can't handle the influx of illegal aliens. I think the politicians should be held financially responsible for these people, not the citizens of the towns where they're being released. If that were to happen, there might be a change in the liberals' views on immigration. It's a classic case of NIMBY.

They don't want a wall to force controlled immigration. They don't want to fund border patrol or encampments (concentration camps) at the border. They simply want them coming in without checks, documentation or controls and don't care who is hurt in the process. Seems to be working out pretty well so far from that point of view.

That's why they (the politicians pushing for this) should all be held financially and criminally responsible for all of them. Hey, if they're all good people just looking to build a new productive life here in the good ol' USA, then no problem, right?

    .
At the end of this, illegals will be voting in places with strong political machines, keeping the machine in power for ever. A Niagra of federal money will flow into these places enriching the top slots of the machines beyond imagination. You will have the privilege of paying for it all.

    Always follow the money

New Quebec law stresses migrants' skills, thousands must reapply

The Quebec provincial legislature on Sunday approved a controversial immigration bill that will replace a first-come, first-served standard for accepting migrants with one tied to an applicants’ skills.

The law is similar to a proposed plan from US President Donald Trump that would shift his country’s visa system from family-based immigration towards bringing in more skilled workers.

The law will attempt to more closely match the skills offered by would-be immigrants with the needs of the labor market in Quebec, Canada’s second most-populous province.

Who knew that Quebec saw such value in Trump's immigration policies?
