I got ahold of the VFW, and they will send people in the morning to help my neighbor!! I feel a lot better. I also called his daughter agian to inform her what is going on, she said that she couldn't take her father because, , , wait for it, , , they got a new puppy and it would be to much work taking care of them both!!! Yup, Viet Nam Veteran and Marine Dad just lost out to a puppy!! Un ****ing believable!!!

I was happy to get the 938 because we have 9mm pistols and would save us needing another caliber... Turned out to be a bad decision.

Yep. I'm 9mm free now. Most of my pistols are chambered in .45 acp. A few in .22LR & a couple .38 spl.

9mm,.40 and .45. Only have 1 .40 though. A friend pointed out something to me this winter that I never really thought about. My 9's are all black while the 40 and 45's have shiny stainless slides.

PPQ is a nice weapon. I trade off between a Colt Commander & FS 1911's for EDC. Mostly EDC the Commander.

I almost bought a Mustang, but wish they would put Tritium sights on it. Basically, the main reason I went with the Sig (night sights from factory).

PPQ is a nice weapon. I trade off between a Colt Commander & FS 1911's for EDC. Mostly EDC the Commander.

If I wear gloves I carry the P30L and if I don't I carry the PPQ. FNX is my desk, night stand gun. The others are range guns

Good to know. I talked to a shop today that has the P238 in SAS. Maybe I'll do that instead.

His is a Colt Mk IV Government model. I really like that gun.

And that STI is a nice one, SnS. I wouldn't mind testing it at some point. I kinda wish I hadn't sold my 9mm (Springfield P9). I rarely carried or fired it & a bud of mine had a few break-ins, so I sold it to him (after the matter).
