238 = great gun. 938 = jams too much IMHO.

I was happy to get the 938 because we have 9mm pistols and would save us needing another caliber... Turned out to be a bad decision.

Like the 2 Rugers I bought.....wont make that mistake again.

Yes, those are nice. I think my next 1911 purchase is gonna be an original WW2 GI. But my "Holy Grail" is a Christensen Arms 1911.

On the positive, I have over 2k in each of my other calibers. One of em is over 7k, and I still don't feel its enough.

I'm good. Got sidetracked...son called. I offered him my car instead of trying to find him something. I love my car so I hope I don't regret this, but he needs something reliable and his is just falling apart. Hubby said he will find me something good or build me something....this should be interesting. I have my truck to drive until we figure out what we are doing so now he can't loan it out anymore! I guess my son is coming on Friday to get my Jimmy. We've maintained it and it has all new tires, new battery, new brakes, new everything so I won't have to worry about him. He's a good mechanic too so at least if something does need worked on, I know he can do it too. I've had it since 2005....planned to drive it till the wheels fell off. This is going to be an adjustment!

Most folks do not have as much as you.(2) boxes of 50 is standard

One of these days I will have to do a count. If I do, hubby really will tell me to stop buy .45 ammo! I have it hidden all over in the safe where he can't see it.
