    That was very cool CM. I liked how he was going 145ish before he even shifted into 6th gear!!!

    He was driving with 1 hand and holding the nitrous button with the other....:)

    My 67 vette would do and honest 157 clocked with a radar gun. Had to have both hands in play and focused 100%

    I'm wasting time again today. I got my new laptop late yesterday. I was excited to get it fired up & connected. Started it up, typed in my user name, they forgot to send me my password.:facepalm: Trying to track down the IT guy now.

    I had a built up Kawasaki 900Z1 that would do an 11 second 1/4 mile going through the traps at 128, 130mph. At the end of the 1/4 mile I was pulling around 10,000rpm in 3rd gear!!!. Would have loved to known what the top end was????? That's as fast as I was willing to go

    The KZ's were wicked deadly above 140. Handling issues unless you did some work to them. Ask me how I know????

    I'm glad I never pushed it, as soon as I was finished with the run, I just used 4th & 5th gears to get the RPMs down. 130ish was fast enough for me at Muncie Speedway.

    That, and the slowdown run was really not in great shape in 79 & 80.
