That would be a nice compromise.
Yessir! Very pleased. I was in market for a SA Champion when I found a used Colt for less $$.

This is what I ended up with...

If your blankets and pillows are talking to you then I think you're well past 'go to bed' time and may already be in 'dream land'.

Good morning INGO...maybe it was the wine making me hear things? :dunno:

I slept well other than the cat that snuck under the covers and was hogging the bed. It is -5 here this morning but the sun is shining!

Anyone own a HK .45? I'm thinking of buying one! I've heard nothing but how great they are. Been on my wish list. Buddy has a new one never fired for $900. Either this or a new Range Officer! Decisions, decisions!

I had an H&K USP in .45 ACP. I gave it to the SIL. I did not like the trigger on it. It is a great gun. We were shooting at my sisters and the BIL set up 5 freshly drank beer bottles (his, not ours) at 25 paces. I popped all 5 in 7 shoots with that gun. I was a tad low left on the misses. Damn trigger.
Did the same deal with 6 bottles with one of my RO's and it was 6 for 6. Great trigger plus I am very used to that platform.
H&K is a great gun if it is a USP.
1911 is also a great gun as you already know.
There is the fact it will not be recorded anywhere that you own it.
You know what I would do.
