    I can add LOTS more.
    We had a bunker even inside our highschool that we could see from the history class room. :)
    We didn't have far to go for historical trips. :):

    Also much villages didn't change much since the end of WW2, you can still recognize places like restaurants and cafés from all pictures where you see a GI Jeep parked in front.
    You just have modern cars parked in front now but everything looks just the same.
    Well you can still see WW2 cars too.My neighbor has a US Jeep with all the original military markings, the white star and the US flags.
    The Jeep is still in Normandy and has be driven for 60 years.
    Last year on the beach to celebrate the D Day we had a meeting of US military trucks of WW2.
    With people dressed as GIs and even some French veterans.
    You had flags from France, UK, the US, Canada and other Allied countries all over the town.

    charter plans run around a grand an hour it is roughly a 12 hour flight there so $12,000 each way and we can charter our own flight. more if you want bigger plane.
