I enjoy it's old power plant in the impala, if only it had a posi.
That old Yellow Camaro was the in my eyes.

Any other future plans for that thing? They can be pretty cool when done up right. My baby...
1979 Fairmont Futura Sports Coupe, 40k original miles
200ci I6
Everything works except the A/C.
Planning to upgrade to 15" wheels because of limited 14" tire selection, added an MSD ignition box, removed EGR and AIR system, factory stock otherwise.
Edit: this photo was the day me and dad rolled it out of grandma's garage under its own power after sitting idle 5-6 years. One shot of ether and she fired right up.

Yes they can. One of my favorite sleepers.
10 years ago i would have said no. They were super hot then. Don't think so anymore. My dream car as a kid was a 55 Nomad.
I wondered if you would notice the shirt. You just doing rings and bearings and a fresh repaint? And yes I noticed the Roadkill T-shirt
Oh yeah.......way on the steep side.

Build at this point is still up in the air. Only thing I will be reusing is the block. I will be going with all forged internals and aluminum heads. Basically 3 different build options so far: strong/mild 400, 433 stroker or 461 stroker. Gonna do some more research and talk it though with my "guy".
I'm pretty much the same way. My original intentions were 400ci 400hp 400ft lbs. Where I run into conundrums is that the rotating assembly cost about the same if I go with a mild 400 or a stroker. This car will be getting a Tremec T-56 Magunum 6 speed and eventually 4:10 gears. I just need to hit the lottery first to make it all happen.... Will be a slow process, but that's why I am leaving the car together while all this gets done.I'd rather have 350hp that I could beat on all day than 500hp that I'd be constantly worried about blowing up rearends and tearing gears out of the tranny.

Don't fear the gear.4:10s make a massive difference. That Mustang I had probly wouldn't put 275hp to the wheels but it pulled hard with the gears.
