Yeah that is stupid money for that car.

This is one reason I have never jumped on the Ford hot rod band wagon. It takes a lot of knowledge and effort to get them right.
When they are right you have something. If you miss it then yeah....weld a chain on it.

    Dare to be different.
There is a lot to be said for being different. I am a huge fan, that's why I decided to stick with a poncho engine. Would have been a lot cheaper going with a Chevy, but I wanted to be de different than the norm these days.

I would like to start flipping old cars in the near future I have already saved tons of money on rust repair on my current project.
Here is a great example of what I would consider an easy flip. Lots of 5.0 Mustang crap to be had cheap I would say a 5.0 backed up by a AOD leave the dog dishes simple paint and interior.

I have been thinking about doing this for several years. I'm not sure the demand is there and I hate the idea of dealing with craigslist deals. Especially out of state.

I have bought several out of state much cheaper in TX,AZ,NM than in the Midwest. I always ask if they have a title and more pictures. I deal don't pan out I will have others lined up to look at.
Its such a good feeling to look underneath one and see no rust I mean not even a layer on the rear end!
I think the demand is there from guys 35 and older generally younger guys have no $$ because are raising young ones.
    Hipsters love em!
I am retired so it wouldn't be like I have to pay the bills with classic cars.

    here is Few more

Except for the distance that would be a fair deal at $2K and it is an A/C car on top of that.

The others are cool enough. AMC is a bit salty.

Wife was driving one of these when we first met, wish she had not sold it.

Buddy had a blue "X".....it was stolen and stripped. He bought the remains back and stuffed a bunch of BB chev in it (if memory serves...:oldwise:)with 3 peddles. That was one scary ill handling over horse powered car.
