    Picked out my pistons.
Decided to pull the fast bag air system and put coil springs back under it with some good shocks.

I still have a new set of coil overs from the 70 Camaro never ran that I may put under the back if I can figure out the proper spring rates.

The big cheese came in yesterday and said to get his truck out because someone is coming by this weekend to possibly buy it. That's all fine and dandy, but it's been sitting for three years... First order of business was to check the fluids and replace the battery. Poured some fresh gas in the tank and down the carb. Fired right up. Love this old truck, it was restored about 13 years ago, I still remember going out to the bosses house to help hang the doors. This was built before the restoration shop ever was. If it sells, I'll be sad to see it go, but I hope it gets driven.... It's only got 330 miles on it since the restoration was completed.

    1951 Chevy.

Check out the factory Fenton header. Back when trucks were trucks and it didn't matter if it was loud.

Put a few miles on it while the snow was falling earlier. Was pretty neat. Quite an experience to drive.

Engine compartment detail is the stuff I like to see. Very well done.

I agree on the wheels though. They don't fit the look in my opinion. Tires either for that matter.

Just being nit-picky!:) I'd be perfectly happy with the truck. One can always swap that kind of stuff around. Based on what I see, I would be inclined to put factory stock wheels on it. Or some painted to match steel wheels with period correct hubcaps.

:): You guys have pointed out the one major problem with the truck. I don't have any idea why he chose these wheels. Hard to believe but I was 11-12 when this truck was built. Damn I'm getting old.
