Go to the 7:45 min mark and watch the Lambo run. Then listen to the interview with the driver afterwards. Then leave a comment on your thoughts.

Well it ain't a hot rod and it sure won't be doing any burnouts (it does have a small block chevy in it) but I just finished replacing the oil seals in the outdrive on our boat. Tomorrow I'll replace the bellows, rehang the drive and list it for sale. When it's gone it'll be the first time in 44 years that I haven't owned a boat.:(

I was sad when we let ours go. But it was time.

Well it has been a long winter but now the calendar indicates that it's spring. Weather will most likely be touch & go for the next month but warmer weather is around the corner. That means it's time to start doing race car stuff.
Will be heading up near Kokomo this morning to get the transmission picked up. Then we will probably start getting things put back together.
Went yesterday and picked up a few things and chatted with a couple people about this whole bracket racing deal and the benefits of running a delay box and some of the strategies and games guys play. This could will be a new adventure since I've always been immersed in the heads up first to the finish line wins side og the sport.
One thing that I kept hearing is how much difficulty people are having getting parts still.

So what is everyone else been up to with your projects?

For me the Galaxie has been on hold all winter as has the racecar. Been working on several upgrades on the convertible but it has taken a back seat to the boat. Resealing and replacing the bellows in the outdrive. Started that on the nice weekend we had last week and am ready to put it back together, but the weather turned back to ****. Supposed to be 70 on Wednesday so I may take a 1/2 day and get it put back together so I can get it sold.

The convert is slow going because I don't want to charge anything, even though I had/have most of the stuff to complete the intended upgrades there's still some cash sensitive issues I need to address. The racecar is ready to get the interior and chassis painted so I can start assembling the mechanicals on it. The Gal will get an oil change and driven although I need to get the seat bolsters and upholstery kits so I can get the front buckets installed.

    Sorry you asked? :lmfao:
