I would bet they don't make separate ATM machines for drive-up vs. walk-up. They likely just order a number of machines and the manufacturer makes them all the same.

Working at a credit union, this came up in conversation. Another scenario, Blind guy orders a taxi. Needs cash from ATM. Obviously, wouldn't trust handing the cabbie their ATM card and PIN. Why should he have to walk. cabbie can pull up and roll down the rear window, blind man can now use the ATM.

Yesterday there was a loud knock at the door and I was close so I opened it pretty quickly. As I opened it I noticed a package on the deck and a UPS man getting in his truck. I stopped him and told him about this meme, he was not amused.

I know it's true...but it never made sense to me. I took ROTC classes for a couple of years when I was enlisted in the Guard (MS1 before enlisting, MS3 after). Back then (89 and '91) they taught a lot of land nav. We used to go out to Fort Custer and land nav our woodland camoed @sses off. In fact, I was kinda a land nav stud. Sure, I never scored 300 on the APFT, but when the PT studs came up with an alternative to true north, magnetic north and grid north (cadet north?) who got them back where they needed to be?
