Now that you mention it though, I don't think I know anyone that does sock shoe sock shoe.

I started doing this as a boy scout on campouts, kept the crud on the floor/ground of the tent from sticking to my sock. Lo and behold came in handy years later when the USAF stuck me in a tent in the desert. (Yes the Air Force occasionally lives in tents. Air-conditioned tents, but tents).
