Are we abolishing the electorate college? :):

haha No - absolutely not. :)

My point is that, over time, the 51%+ will decide policies based on who they elect. It isn't (and hasn't been) any one election; it has been a gradual adoption and implementation.

And this is precisely why Joe Biden is the most dangerous candidate to the 2nd Amendment.

The observed experience over time is we don't get firearm bans from leftist politicians.

We get them from moderate democrats who run as centrists...then pay off their constituents and govern as leftists on guns, once in office.

You’re right, and I’m afraid once the older generation passes and the younger begins voting that’ll be when we will end up socialist.

He has an awful lot of support from supposed “2A supporters” here. Maybe they just own double barrel shotguns?

Plenty of squishy republicans help out too.

It's sad to see a senior citizen whose memory has suppressed, or simply forgotten altogether, AWB '94 and Janet Reno ("Grand Jury against Guns").

In order of severity against 2A, I'd stack them: Mini-Mike, Bernie, then Joe.

You should be more mindful of what happens in Congress and what a democrat president would do with a supreme court nominee for Ginsburg's replacement. Bernie is probably the most likely to go pretty far left. Joe most likely to bring a left of center, but not too far left of center nominee. Mini-Mike is an unknown at this point. He might even go more to the right on a nominee than Joe.

It's just proof the Dems realize how truly bat**** crazy their voters are, this day in age. They saw it's mathematically possible for someone with 35% support in their own party to become President, and when you throw in the appeal of free stuff, they knew it's a done deal if they don't act now.

They are not afraid Bernie will lose to Trump. The RC poll average currently shows Bernie beating Trump by the same margin as Biden. They are afraid he will win.

It turns out that there really _is_ a Left version of "NeverTrump."

There is good analysis in this. They are afraid he may take over the entire party like Trump has and put all of them out, no matter if he wins or loses in the fall.

Tomorrow will be interesting. Many of the names will remain on the ballots.

I expect Warren to drop out soon. We'll be left with the Unholy Trinity: Joe, Mini-Mike and The Burn.

I disagree. She is working Bernie's side of the street and will be given every inducement to keep pulling votes away from him right up thru Milwaukee
