That has not been my experience, and that wasn't even remotely implied in my comment. I cannot fathom what sort of trauma you experienced to come to this generalization.
    No "trauma". :)
When I compare my years in school and the teachers I had with what's going on today, I'm glad I'm not a student in the schools of today.

    And the games have begun.
The crew sat idle 4 hours waiting on utilities to be located.

Nice to see they “called ahead :ugh:

Had a nice afternoon at the range. Worked on some 50 yard targets-no better or worse than what I have been shooting then tried a few 100 yd groups. Once I figured out a rough aiming point (about 4 MOA holdover if I understand what I am doing correctly) I shot 3 5 shot groups, only one was sub MOA and is my group of the day

I'M SURE that's true of MANY teachers, but as a group it appears the caring ones are outnumbered by the ones who put theirselves ahead of the kids, and that's why the policies are what they are.

@edporch all I can think of when I read your comments are the following quotes ...

One frequently heard on Bob & Tom show ... "You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, no matter how wrong or stupid it might be".

The second is from Evelyn Beatrice Hall noting a Voltairean principle ... “I wholly disagree with what you say - and will contend to the death for your right to say it".

Best of success in your life.

I went to the range today to sight in the scope on the latest rifle. It was not the experience that I was thinking it would be. I got it close enough for now. The temperature in there was so hot and my glasses were fogging up. If you can't see the target then you can't see if where you were hitting is off due to the optic or the inability to see the target.

Was browsing the interwebs for local used weapons and found this FWIW

edit: too many 9s and not enough 1s

If I had a gun fund at all, I'd buy that. Or at least seriously consider it. As well as the Shadow 2 in the classies.

That sounds complicated. I bought my lift as a kit and just assembled it. The dock was built in the driveway and then moved to the lake on rollers. The gardener built the patio and we bought the table assembled.View attachment 210165
Can I ask how many years ago that you bought the lift? and what was the weight capacity for that set up??
I like your set up!!! Is that all poly?? or treated??

I do not need to tell you anything or prove anything to you.

I did not voluntarily enter this discussion with you. It was you who misquoted me to make your inane point. I have simply been trying to distance myself from your misquote, yet you keep trying to draw me is as if you need somebody to argue with.

My involvement with you and this topic is complete.

You do you, and I’ll do me … again, I say, best of success in your life.

Top of the mornin', gangsters ! ..... I'm slowly making strides on this new morning schedule that I find myself in. For the last week, I've generally been up and about by 7AM. That's totally not like me !
