And here I was feeling pretty good at hitting 5 years with my employer... ;)

5 year anniversary for my current too. Transferring out (2/28) into the new Dept. I'll lose my 3rd week I gained this year. Gonna try and burn it week before I swap. I guess I lose what I never had before? :dunno:

7 years was the longest I stayed with an employer, but then I got laid off. In my field, staying with one company too long is actually detrimental to the career. Have to go where the responsibilities and money improve, which more often than not means moving employers. It's a PITA, especially when PTO and things like that are constantly reset.
This is true. I just passed 25 years with my company but do have about 30 days pto to compensate for my lack of career progression

Damn, same company different department and you are losing vacation? That's unusual in my experience.

It was about 60 here this morning, now in the 40’s. We’re supposed to get ice and sleet. Yay! :runaway:

We hit 60 around 3 or 4pm yesterday and it fell slightly when it started raining, but it's been dropping since this morning. Continuing to rain. Should turn to ice/snow around 4pm, according to predictions.
