Howdy folks. Thanks for all the .22 suggestions. I am going to look into all of them! I have to run the idea by the boss. The G44 might be her gun, I don’t remember, I think it is, everything is hers, I own nothing anymore…

My favorite .22 handgun is a Sig (GSG) 1911-22. It has all the upgrades, and just a ton of fun to shoot. It is a full size 1911. Fantastic shooter.

7 years was the longest I stayed with an employer, but then I got laid off. In my field, staying with one company too long is actually detrimental to the career. Have to go where the responsibilities and money improve, which more often than not means moving employers. It's a PITA, especially when PTO and things like that are constantly reset.

I had one of these once. TD and I used to step back to 30 yards or so and nail 6” steel plates from the hip. Very fun guns.

Now this is something to spend on! Colt Thunderer with factory ivory and engraving, sent to Kitteredge's wholesale in Cincinnati where it was silver plated. It won't go cheap.

Stayed in this auction until it just got too expensive. Only Kitteredge marked 1860 I've ever seen. Rough shape and covered with conservation varnish, must have been dumped by a museum. I was hoping for a deal, probably along with a bunch of other people.

Well, with my wife, it requires both hands to hold on to her... but it's ok, I like'm that way.

Long barreled 1877s are uncommon, what kept the design going as long as it did was the small handy size and light weight. It made up for the cranky mechanism.
