Cajun Gun Works is about to release a new and improved disconnector that is supposed to drop a full pound of the DA. I have a couple of guns whose DA pull is just a few ounces over 5lbs. I have to say I can't even imagine a DA pull of 4+ lbs. That would be insane. Let's see...$40 a pop times xxx = Aw crap.

Morning folks!

There are a a couple of shows on Netflix that you guys have reminded me of...."Minimalism" and "The Kindness Diaries". I just opened up my safe and starting throwing items that have just gone without appreciation in the classys. Quality over quantity and happiness not coming in the form of material goods are the premise of each of the shows. I was in a pretty dry meeting with some hospital CFOs talking financials last week when the person sitting next to me seemed genuinely happy to just be there...and for no apparent reason. After the meeting was over and people were chatting before leaving we were talking a bit and I was asking her about her hobbies and general nonsense, when out of the blue she told me, "I like to leave people better than I found them". That was last week and I'm still thinking about what she had said. That simple concept has such a deep connection with me for some reason.

What a simple, yet profound philosophy for life.

I finally picked up my new Sp01 today after selling my Sp01 Tactical a few months ago(instant regret) and while picking up the Sp01 I went ahead and ordered a P09 in Urban Gray. I think I might be becoming a CZ fanboy....

Yup, you've come down with the Czickness. It's not seasonal and it doesn't go away by itself. It can be expensive, but what a ride!

I've been watching for the new disconnector from CGW and would love to see a full pound off of a DA pull. A CZ with a 5# DA pull and nicely tuned SA trigger would pretty much be the ultimate in pistols for me. An SRS and new disconnector would make a very inexpensive upgrade that has a major impact to the feel of the gun. One thing I thought about last night when looking at that bin full of triggers is that I need to get back to playing with drilling them and installing set screws for adjustments. I've done one like that so far and cannot even remember which pistol it's on now.

I was counting my nickels on DOGG'S RAMI last night. I saw that he posted it and knew I wanted it. I held off and thought about it for about half an hour or so and still wanted it. Got in touch with DOGG and someone beat me to it by 15 minutes! Such is life I guess, missed it by 15 minutes. Really I'm just glad that he could sell it quickly for a decent price.
