Looking like I'm going to lose my 22 year old cousin Ashley. She's been struggling with alcohol. Been in ICU for a couple days, things are taking a downturn. If she makes it through, she will need a liver and a kidney. Kinda hit me by surprise, so I'm not sure how to act or what to say right now...

I lost my brother to this demon.
Through a life time of effort and sacrifice he never did settle into what we would consider a normal life.
If he knew you had alcohol of any kind he was asking for a drink. It took him many years to achieve death by the bottle.
Sad that at 22 this is possible.

Sorry to hear of this Rusty. It's tough seeing someone deal with the effects of a life of drinking, but at 22, life has barely begun. That's way too sad. Prayer's inbound for her.

Thank you all for the prayers... We just said goodbye to her about an hour ago... Too young, beautiful, gentle caring. I had a lot of very good times with her, had no idea it was this bad... Will miss the little brat.

There is far too much of this abuse going on. I see zombies everyday in my neighborhood.
