On a lighter note. I got to the range today on a whim. Got to shoot my P07, P09, 75B and PCR. Man it was a good 45 minutes.
I can't decide which CZ I like shooting the best. It is just whichever CZ is in my hand at the time.

Looking like I'm going to lose my 22 year old cousin Ashley. She's been struggling with alcohol. Been in ICU for a couple days, things are taking a downturn. If she makes it through, she will need a liver and a kidney. Kinda hit me by surprise, so I'm not sure how to act or what to say right now...

Prayers sent, to you and yours .....

Had to get up early, watched this video from Iraqveteran8888 on the CZ 75 SP-01 in tactical urban grey.
I found it interesting that he said he took the threaded barrel out and put it in his Phantom so he could run it suppressed.
I thought the barrels had to be fitted? Guess not.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

I just finished up a morning walk and am working for a bit before a quick early range trip. TopDog, they have that exact Urban Grey SP01 down at the Outdoorsman in Greenwood. Don't recall the price as right now, anything that costs more than $7 is out of my budget.

It's supposed to storm, but I don't care. I plan to meet you there anyway :yesway:

Morning everyone. Had a little range trip with the Wizard last evening. Ran into some function issues with the newly cerakoted "Green Machine". We are pretty sure it's the hammer. Have to do some research to see what exactly the issue is and what the fix might be. Anyway, the RAMI and the satin nickel compact ran great. Probably time for a new recoil spring in the RAMI.

Hey, here's another reason that this thread needs to survive: A couple of weeks ago, I had made a passing mention that I was getting burned out in my current job. Been doing it for 20 years and some of the thrill has gone out of software engineering in my department. WTB suggested that I contact his company about a job in Information Security. We quickly realized that we both work for the same company and are sitting in almost the exact same spot, except for having a floor between us. I thought it was just a happy coincidence and let it go, but Tom did not. Fast forward 3 weeks and 2 interviews and I have accepted a fantastic opportunity on Tom's team working in Information Security Architecture.

None of that would have happened without WTB and this thread. And, since this thread would not have happened without CZs, it just goes to show that a CZ can not only thwart a baddie, but it can also help to alleviate job burnout. I'll bet that there are other things that we could improve our lives with using CZs that none of us has ever thought of. Laundry maybe?

Thanks Tom, I owe you one big time!

Like I said before Tim, it's a WIN-WIN-WIN in my book. You needed something different, Security Architecture needed someone with your experience and I get to work more closely with someone I consider a good friend. WIN all around :D
