    Morning folks! :coffee:

    Morning all...:coffee:
Darn it Tim, you beat me to it! Congrats! Beautiful gun

They have another one just like this one down there Tom. I looked at both to see if I could spot the blem and neither has anything I could see. I ended up choosing the one from the back room only because it saved them from having to make a new tag for the one in the case.

It is funny how some guns grab you and others don't. I've always liked the look of the 75B over the guns with rails, even though I like the usefulness of having a rail on the gun. Without a rail, this new gun will never do nightstand duty as long as there are railed options available each night. The Beretta 92 is a gun that's never grown on me. Non-1911 Sigs are the same way. Except for the P320, I just don't lust after the pistols in the Sig style.

Like CM says, I have nothing against them, but just don't care to own one. But, the stainless 75B was definitely a want for me. I fully expect it to become one of my favorite shooters with time, talent and parts. The Compact 75B is another gun that strikes a chord with me. If I decide to go back to 9mm carry, it will most likely be done with another Compact since I don't imagine I'll get my current compact back off of my son any time soon.

Very true. In their defense, I have generally looked at my collection from an heirloom standpoint. I guess they just hold on to the guns for us until we can hand them down to them. If that makes any sense.

    It does.
I have had this conversation with the kids.
I have made sure they are all well armed and assisted them with upgrades.
My time for giving is done. Sharing at the range and feeding their guns is still open policy but no more "Can I take that with me".....Done with that.
As my collection is in constant flux what is left to them is still up in the air. I may liquidate when I get to :fogey: to enjoy them.

Snap, if looking at that Omega ever becomes a burden please let me know and I will take it off your hands. ;)

Hehehe... No, it's not particularly offensive where it sits now. :) It's in an old school leather duty holster at my bedside. I took an old belt, put it through the loop of the holster, and laid the belt between the mattress and the box spring so that the holster is the only thing you see, literally hanging from the side of my bed. I can just reach down with my right hand and grab it.

It's just horrible that you have to put up with the sight of that every night before bed. Probably why you have problems sleeping. I would be a poor friend indeed if I allowed you to suffer any longer.
