I can’t express how much I like my p226 legion sao/or firearm. The 229 is a great option but I thought the little extra length of the 226 made it a tad better balanced under fire. Won’t ever be a carry gun so weight was no matter.

I found that both my P226s and P229s are almost identical in weight. The difference is a trade-off between longer barrel vs shorter, but fatter grip. The P229s carry better for me due to the shorter slide/barrel.

Had a long day at the farm yesterday and feeling it this morning.

Nine hours of power washing here yesterday. 15 min lunch break. I feel fine.

Not sure about the poor high school kid who is doing some work for me though….

I think I paid 1200 very lightly used from a member here for 226 w/ R1P.

I think I’ve said it before, but if you want to shoot both before you make a decision just let me know. If your going to carmel for stuff I’m not that far.

I don’t mind the size of the 226 for carry, but I shoot just a as well with the 229 so kinda go that way more.
