Considering that the color of every single part is customizable, if it comes out ugly or stupid looking, then you only have one person to blame. They have all black too for the Amish and those without personalities.
You obviously have no idea who you're speaking to if you don't think I have a personality.

Honestly, I can't take a firearms company serious about their product when 2 of their options are called Perry the Platypus and Malibu Beach House. And the entire lineup is based on one of the ugliest animals on the planet. The name does not inspire confidence. Same reason I don't have power tools made by Huggy Bear or a car called the Donkey. Because stupid names don't belong on cars, guns, and tools. How very 2023 of them.
I know a clever nickname you could give it….

No, you misunderstand... I think you're Amish. Gun Amish.

I do a fair amount of work for the (reform) Amish community and have seen some of their firearms. While they may be predominantly utilitarian in nature, they have no problem with high end and high quality equipment.

Maybe the most amazing wood stock I have ever seen was an Amish owned Rem 700. Far far from an all black plain Jane affair.

Anyway. Let’s move on to the next topic.

Ok, let's get this thread back on the derailed tracks it normally rides.

We were originally planning a trip to the cabin. Now, they've changed the forecast to basically an all-day rain Friday /Friday night, and 50% chance Saturday PM (plus the cold front).
Nahhh, that doesn't sound like fun. I don't feel great anyway, so we're staying home.

Unsurprisingly, I agree with Spicy. The Platypus brand seems gimmicky to me.
