Unsurprisingly, I agree with Spicy. The Platypus brand seems gimmicky to me.
Taking one of the hottest platforms currently going, marrying it to one of the most popular and reasonably priced magazines, and custom making it to order at a high level of quality in the US for a lower price than the DWX, may be a gimmick. If it is, I'd love to see more like it. If both it and the Prodigy do nothing more than applying some downward pressure on the 2011 market, that alone is worth it IMO.

I thought I'd post a couple of the final pics from September's trip to Italy. Despite not taking a great camera, I was able to grab a couple of decent shots with the cell phone.

Next trip will include the Canon F-1 and a digital SLR of some sort.

well after probably 75-100 front sight installs I finally mangled the roll pin on a 75. Anyone order bulk pins off Amazon or eBay. I’m not paying the shipping price from Cajun for one when I can probably get 100 for less. Everything I see says 2mm x10mm. Can anyone confirm this before I order or does anyone have bulk that already ran into the same problem?

You should ask the Wizard, he would know what size that pin is.

.081 to .086 X .395. I mike a new roll pin. At the thickest was .086, rotate pin 90 degrees it measures .081.
