Gun store fondled a DWX and a DWX Compact early this afternoon.

All I can say is that it is a good thing my wife takes away my CCs when she leaves town.

Actually, I can say more…both guns are definitely the fitment you’d expect from DW. Triggers are excellent.

The DWX is very reminiscent of a Shadow 2 in hand.

The compact model is just WOW! Very comfortably, very balanced and a trigger that might be better than the full size.

I would tell you more but the counter said that it was closing time and I had to leave…

I handled a compact at Scheels they do feel great, they had a used one already for 1599.00 the other day.

The wife had one just like that when we got married. Fun car to drive around San Diego. It was a bring back from Europe by a Naval officer. Spent a good amount of time in the shop. We sold it a guy who shipped it back to Italy.

Sell the Prodigy and you’re almost there. $1800 is a great price for a C2 with the DLC coated threaded barrel . New is over $2782 with tax.

I've had a couple of those over the years and still have an early one. They are inexpensive, fun, and parts are cheap. They have been more reliable for me than my BMWs.

If properly maintained, they are quite good. But, they come from an age where you were expected to know how to adjust points.
