I don't have access to a lathe so I use a little cutter from Brownells, you just choose the appropriate bore pilot and just carefully start removing the metal, the pilot keeps everything concentric. You can use a 45deg or I have a less radical 11degree, works well for revolver cylinder chamfers as well. I did that barrel in just a couple of minutes, it doesn't take much.

Morning folks!

I'm packing relatively light this year. 2 pistol cases with 1 or 2 1911s, a couple of Sigs and some of those CZ things. On the rifle side, I'm just bringing the retro stuff. SP1, XM177E2 and M16A2 clones.

I am packing heavy on pistols, a few 22 rifles, an MPX and an suppressed AR (to offset 88's XM177E2).

The last few years have seen so little shooting that I need to knock the dust off some stuff....I know...first world problems. Sigh

Nope....but...has it had a really deep cleaning? My SIL had a 39a that would not feed or fire consistently. I took it apart and removed a lifetime of crud, cleaned/lubed and a made a small adjustment to a spring and it runs like a fine Swiss watch now.

I'm looking forward to the FGE putting some energy back in my shooting hobby. I've only done a handful of range trips this summer with probably less than 200 rounds down range since June. The new PCR needs run a bit and I need to get comfortable with the Sigs again.
