I haven't planted anything this year. Asparagus comes back on its own.
I have jumped the gun the last 2 years so this year I'm not doing anything early. I'll go buy my plants after the threat of frost is over
"Old" farmer friend of mine, now deceased, used to always say - no worries before Mother's Day.

Had another farmer friend that HAS to be the first guy in fields.

By the end of the season, they both usually ended up in about the same place.

    In the country, hopefully.
We’ve got maybe 40% of our beans planted, started about the 12th. Slowest growing beans I’ve ever seen but those still haven’t emerged and glad for that this morning. Still look good.
Will wait to plant the corn til real warmth.

ETA We’ve never planted beans this early, ever. Agronomist encouraged it.

Good looking PCR for a great price in the classies, except he seems a little worried. If you don’t mind bill of sale looks like a nice gun.

Haven’t got to shoot mine yet, maybe later today? Know I’m gonna love it.

Also - not CZ - but I know many here have a love for Sigs as well, and there’s a beautiful specimen in the fo-tay flavor that seems like a great price to me, can’t believe it’s still there!
    ETA, this is gone now.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled CZ programming.

I don't know much about Ag but crop genetics are just amazing today. It is almost like if you can get them in the ground and not flooded - they will yield.
