We have been really slow on here since just before Christmas. It might be the same with all of INGO, but I notice it most here. Must have some busy people!

I have been seriously attacking the list. Things to get done around here before the work load kicks back in.
Tomorrow will be a bit more casual.

It does get quiet in here from time to time. I'm sure it will pick up again once everyone recovers from Christmas spending and starts the spring projects. Has anyone thought more about the P10C based on Mac's latest video? I might give serious consideration to one in .40 next fall. We'll see though. Who knows what I'll be into by then. Right now, I'm leaning in a 1911 direction.

I have started and completed at least 10 project in the last 40 days or so. I am now catching up around here.
I put the 64 in storage today. Now that I have my car port back I am setting up the saws out there. Much to do.

Too damn cold to do anything outside for a couple of days. As for projects, I have one coming back from cerakote. The parts and sights are already in hand. I have one more that should arrive Friday and will need to go out to cerakote. Then I have to save my nickels for parts and sights. After that I am taking a break from acquiring any and focusing on ammo, mags and sight upgrades.

I have some sighting to verify on a couple. Bore laser verification.

My son and I finished off a lot of the rock part of the landscape work around the deck yesterday. That and moving the car we were pretty damn cold.

I looked outside before jumping in the shower and the car looked like an ice ball. Looked out after the shower and everything is covered in snow. Who ordered that? I had no idea it was supposed to snow and it is really coming down fast.

The weather guessers were inciting panic last night saying 1 to 2 inches of sticking snow. I see a dusting here.

    Morning all... :coffee:

We have a dusting here as well.

I'm planning to pick up a P10c as long as I can get it around the $500 it should go for. If it's only out for much higher than that, I can wait. I just want to play with one to see what I think. Worst case, I don't like it and I sell it to my nephew who is looking for his first gun. No downside for either of us ;)

Man I just can not get on board with the mushy striker fired offerings. It will be interesting to see what they do with this.

I feel that way, but to a lesser extent, about the Omegas. The trigger, even after upgrades, just feels mushy to me. Now CZ is discontinuing the 85 Combat and the 85B. They want people to buy the 75 Omega instead.

Gamers who didn't want to invest in a Shadow buy 85 Combats and tune them up. There is now a hue and cry over the discontinuation of the 85 Combat because that leaves the Shadow as the only available gun without a FPB. I guess these folks are just too good to buy an old transitional pre-B. They don't know what they're missing.

Not to mention that the trigger difference between a gun with or without a FPB is so thin as to be indistinguishable to all but the top 1% of shooters.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

I'm not sure what I'll do about the P10C. It all depends on how it feels in the hand when a shop gets one in. I have absolutely no need for one, but that was true many guns ago, yet I keep shopping. I should probably trade my G23 on the first one I see in .40 since all of the G23 holsters should still work with it. That's a nice idea except I don't think I'll get squat for the G23 in today's market.

Man, ain't that the truth. It kind of makes me want to pick up a couple for future project work.
