    88,
You must have great self control. If I run into someone that is extremely liberal I can't seem to keep my mouth shut and throw out comments to provoke discussion. I guess when it is family you have to bite the tongue.

Depends on the liberal to me. I have a friend who married a woman who is pretty liberal. I watch what I say and am tactful in my conversations with her. She's actually a relatively intelligent woman and can see my point of view, while not agreeing and vice versa. She's not one I would classify as a libtard, due to this. Now, it's completely different if the person is an intolerant libtard who can't stand someone who has a different point of view on something.

I have put myself into a way of dealing with the lib/left thinkers. I remain calm and bombard them with common sense rational thought/info. They can not stay up with it after they run through all the sound bites and talking heads scripted Bravo Sierra.
I seldom win them over but they just stop after a while. They have no recourse when they run through the scripted responses.

There was no good to be had by discussing the issue. She is a newspaper reporter for one of the smaller papers in CA and was raised in Portland. We just did not talk about anything that would set either of us off and it was all good. To her credit, she never once commented on my tendency to carry the biggest gun I could while around her. Not even when I was sporting the polished Delta Elite with mammoth ivory grips. Had she asked, I was going to leave the word 'mammoth' off of the descriptions. :)

I will argue with them all day long if they bring it up, but if they respect my choice to carry, I'll respect their choice to cower. I'll never understand it let alone embrace it, but it's a free country.

You carried "Huge" on purpose....go ahead, admit it.
