Yeah.....I gotta feed 2 of them.....:)

Thought I had a really nice optic mount from one of my last M1A's but can not seem to find it.

I do have a sweet Vortex Viper for it though.
I thought pretty hard about picking up a scout model tonight. Settled on pistols instead.

If you're fine with manually lowering the hammer to half cock and carrying that way, there is no reason for the decocker. If you want to carry cocked and locked then obviously go with the safety model. The safety cannot be activated if the hammer is at half cock.

And there is the other half of the equation...

The de-cocker is just that. You can safely manipulate the de-cocking lever and lower the hammer.
One of my CZ's has this.

If I'm thinking correctly, when you chamber a round on a decocker, the hammer stays cocked but there's no "safety" engaged. So you have to use the de-cocker to lower the hammer, then the DA becomes the "safety". Close?

That is a cool pic RH.....just cool.

I am tacking that RO the next time I see it.It needs some love I tell ya.
 I love them both, my two favorites.

It is starting to loosen up. Slide to frame could be better, trigger is smoothing out, bushing is not as tight as I thought it was... I'm ok with it for now, I think once I get a commander and make that a carry piece, I'll be down with doing some hot rodding on the RO.
