That gun would make an excellent carry gun. You just need to replace the barrel with a 9mm or larger. Then replace the slide with one that works with the barrel. Next, replace the frame with one that works with the new slide. After that, all you need to do is replace every other bit and piece inside with cajun goodies and it would be good to go. The best part is that you'll have so many parts left over, you can reassemble them all and sell it as a whole gun. The only issue with selling the leftover parts would be that it's in .32 and nobody wants to buy those.

I just ordered an 8.5" pistol upper for an AR. It's in 300BO, which adds yet another caliber to worry about, but I've been wanting to build an AR pistol and that seems to be a good caliber to go with. We'll see how it works out when it gets here. Hopefully, it does not come before the stripped lowers. Otherwise, the BATFE boys could jump my s__t for constructive intent. The lowers are due any day now, and knowing how PSA is with shipping, I should be fine though. I'll probably be lucky to get it by January. With spares, this should let me put it together for around $400. It will be an inexpensive way into the AR pistol world and could be fun if it actually works well.

That sounds fun. For the longest time I didn't care about 300 Blackout, until I started thinking about a rifle for keeping the neighbor coyotes from eating some little wiener dogs.... Then it caught my eye, but I have not acted on that rifle "need" yet...
