Paul Manafort wiretapped during Trump campaign - Washington Times
" “The government snooping continued into early this year, including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump,” CNN reported.
Mr. Manafort has owned a home in Trump Tower since 2006.
In March of this year, Mr. Trump tweeted that he had “just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”"
Actually, apparently Manafort gained the attention of the Feds, and was under surveillance since 2014. Donald Trump announced his candidacy June 2015. Unless you can prove that the Feds knew Donald Trump would run, and that Manafort would be his chairman way back in 2014, it's not reasonable to think that the Feds got involved interested in misconduct on the part of Manafort because he was associated with the Trump campaign.

I no longer watch the NFL or buy any related items. While I support their right to sit or kneel during the anthem. The FA protects them from any government action against them. It doesn't protect them from financial repercussions when the fans turn off their games and refuse to support them any longer.

Did you even read the article? He was under investigation in 2014, and that investigation went no where and was closed. The search warrant expired. It was re-opened via a FISA warrant last year prior to the election and the reporters have not confirmed if it was during the primary or the general election.
I would think that if you launch a full-blown federal investigation of someone, and come up dry... you'd better have something good if you want to re-start an investigation.
Oh, unless he's the campaign chair of the political opposition... no, that's not banana republic at all.
Well, let's see if he indicted or cuts a deal shall we. Judges, on TWO separate occasions, granted FISA warrants. It looks like ole Manafort is either going to prison (ironically compliments of the Trump DoJ) or he's going to cut a deal.... or the president can call the whole thing shenanigans and pardon him. Lol
Wouldn't be the first time Clapper looked us in the eye and lied. Wonder if he or his bosses will be held accountable?

Having lived in several states, I learned early on that people like to be around people who are like them. We self-sort. Leftists are no different. They're every bit as bigoted as humans tend to be. At least the ones in Red states are mostly polite about it.
