I don't know why we always have to get bogged down in this crap, this nation has real problems.

I like how Trump steers clear of these issues, hopefully his vp can do the same.

I couldn't agree more, its an issue of such monumental insignificance I can't see why anyone would choose to make it their defining issue. It's like terrorism, it's a headline grabbing issue blown far, far out of proportion and dishonestly used for political gain.

Also I'd point out that Trumps VP has already missed the boat on 'steering clear of these issues'

My guess is that Pence will do just fine so long as he has someone else telling him what to do, or perhaps more important, what NOT to do.

It's not reported much in the news, but does anyone else notice after President Trump make a policy statement, Hiillary makes one to answer a few days later?

It is funny though that Christians can extrapolate from a verse something which clearly isn't there (dont cater gay weddings) yet can explain away the literal text which says gays should be put to death.

I would think it is an individual's choice to not support gay marriage if they feel their God would not support it, regardless of what you think their religious text says.

Additionally...I'm not a biblical scholar by any means - but even I grasp the contrast between the old testament and the new testament. More importantly - why they are different, and how it relates to the central story of the bible.

Sorry for responding too, I guess this doesn't really relate to the election unless Trump or Hillary said something about it, but oh well.

No problem responding, it relates to the Johnson v trump debate.

An individual should have the right to refuse anyone service for any reason. If you agree ideologically with this view then 'no blacks allowed' 'jews not served here' should all be allowed.

My point is that you're either ideologically consist, which I'm fine with, or you aren't.

As far as the bible goes, you have a verse that forbids serving sinners? Or any verse that even remotely supports the idea that catering a gay wedding is somehow sinful?

New Senate rankings from Jennifer Duffy moves NC to Toss Up. 8 R seats in Toss-Up to 1 for Ds

    Senate: Race Ratings

With what amounts to an 8 seat swing in terms of caucus, this could really suck.

Also, you buried the lede: the 1 D tossup is Harry Reid. For as lovely as it would be to get rid of him, I don't see it happening.

For those of us with an outlook that our time on earth is limited, but our time in eternity is unlimited, morality is a real problem. Jobs, money, even 2A should take a back seat.

    Sharia Law much?

I worry about my own morality, if others want to be immoral, that is their problem.
