    It's almost here!

Atlanta Conservation Club's Inaugural Speed Shotgun Match is THIS SUNDAY, March 14th!

Fellow shooting enthusiasts, I can’t believe that it’s been two long months since this thread started! I am really excited to get blasting!

SET UP for the match will be Saturday, the 13th and will begin around 12:00 Noon. Please come and help out if you can. A good pair of work gloves is highly recommended. The more help we get from volunteers like you, the better the matches will be! Remember, half price match fees for Saturday set-up crew.

Hope to see you all out there!

I'm gonna have to bow-out at the 11th hour for this. The rest of my family has come down with something and they are both quite ill, so it's up to me to take care of the ladies tomorrow. I will make it a point to make the next one....

Can't think of a better way to spend a rainy day, thought I'd turned up on the wrong day when I saw all the cowboys blasting away.

Gutted I cant bring my trusty old 20g 870 along tomorrow.....really will be a fun shoot, you'll definately have a great time.

Hope the weather improves for tomorrow!!

    Paul.

    Stages look great!

Craig, Dale, Kevin, and Paul, thanks again for helping set up.

Well, I hope we get a nice turnout tomorrow, regardless of weather. I thought the stages really looked great. It's really cool to see that much steel on every stage.

A few people have asked me about round count for tomorrow. Well, that's really not how this format works, but to answer the question... there is a total of 112 target opportunities.

There are 5 stages, 15-27 target opportunities per stage.

Again, every stage has a par time and stage procedure intentionally set so no one will realistically be able to get all of the targets on any stage. So, don't be surprised if you don't.

The object of this game is to come up with your best strategy to neutralize as many targets as you can before time runs out. Your strategy may or may not at certain times involve passing certain targets opportunities in favor of other potentially more efficient opportunities.

Hope to see you all there!

The match was a blast. Thanks to Ryan and his crew for creating and setting up some fun stages. It was nice to put some faces to the names I have been seeing for a while on here. Can't wait for 3-gun.

    Great pics Dave, thanks!
I liked the match. I think it went really well. If we can get Ryan to give us a little more on the par times, I'll get to shoot more!
