    Have you checked it? It's probably between 12v-20v depending on the load.
    And how many amps?
    If it can't supply the amps, it won't work.
    And the wiring has to be rated high enough for the amps.
    And since they are so tiny, I don't think they can handle more than the trickle they already have.

    I fully understand amps, very well actually.
    That's why the halogenss don't work very well, switch to LED is going to require much less amperage. How many Watts are the lights you are wanting to add?

    looks like he just added a rectifier and put a LED bulb in the same spot.
    Same bulb I put in my tractor mower. And, while that bulb is better than what is there, it's not like one of those led bars.
    There are different ones on that site, a lot of Light bars added on.
    That's just a description of the rectifier
