Man, **** these unsolicited texts and calls.

Starting to reply that if they send me one more, I'm voting libertarian. Doubt that'll work.

Getting two texts and two calls per day.

Not to jinx it... but I haven't gotten any calls/texts.... maybe they don't work over the weekend

We still have a land line and that thing has been ringing off the hook. We're getting calls from area codes we've never even seen before.

I think I see where fivethirtyeight.com is making a faulty assumption. They have Indiana's turnout at below the median. I think that's incorrect. Early voting saw HUGE lines this past weekend in Hamilton county, which tells me that the Republican base is turning out.

I have no idea what Dem turnout is like, but I can't imagine that its flat. If this midterm doesn't motivate them, then the GOP is in better shape than I thought.

By keeping it close, I think Braun's made his case. I think it'll be close, but I think Braun will win.

I hope you are right. We early voted this past Saturday down here in Mitchell. We went to the only place that was open on Saturday and there was a 30-45 minute line to vote.

I did not vote early this time. I’m going to the polls tomorrow morning as soon as they open. I expect very large crowds. Not 2016 large, but large for a midterm. I seriously doubt it will be people lining up for Donnelly. I don’t think people are thrilled with Braun either. Mostly it’s a vote against the party of insane social justice.

Assuming Braun wins, man I hope we're not wishing for a primary opponent against him in a few years. I have this sneaking suspicion about him.

The Carmel early voting line was 2.5 -3 hours long. And yes, people were waiting that long. I heard that the other location (Westfield, maybe?) wasn't quite as long.

Noblesville, the county seat, apparently had no line. :)

Not sure what that means, other than people in Carmel are reluctant to travel outside the city boundaries. ;)

Man, I wouldn't have waited that long. The main reason we went is it was easier on my wife (because of work) to vote early. It probably depended on what time you went too. We went pretty much right after lunch.

ETA to your point about traveling outside city boundaries, reckon that's partially based on the misunderstanding about voting centers? I could reasonably understand why folks would think they have to vote at the one closest to them.

Carmelites are trapped in by the roundabouts...

Yeah, I was there for other reasons, and would've tolerated a short wait. My precinct is never busy on actual election day (I go pretty early in the morning, though), so it isn't a big deal to me, either.

The Greenwoodians are enjoying their new giant roundabout at Smith Valley and Madison.

It's... an odd one. Saw some confused drivers when it opened.

Voted Saturday morning here in The Fort. I was there when doors opened, second one in line. Maybe a dozen people by the time I left.

Went to vote today and the line was so long I walked back out. I'll try again at my polling place tomorrow morning when it opens.
