Haven't there been people right here on INGO getting fiber run to their house?

Kinda curious how this is being defined.

I mean if one has a 56k modem or old DSL or a cell phone with spotty internet service or Hughesnet that can hardly stream TV or takes forever to download software updates and gets fiber run to their small town....well I guess they technically had internet.

Anyway I know several rural folk who are getting cable/fiber service within the last year.

Now believing the govt should be subsidizing it is a different conversation.

Around here new fiber is coming from state funded programs. Not of that sweet Liberal money is being spend down here.
