CM introduced me to the Czickness. I thought he was a great guy immediately. I got to know him a little better over the forum and saw him at a few gun shows, and yep, I was right.

The kit for MkIV is sitting in my mailbox currently. It’s the only non-perfected 22 pistol I own right now and that will change in 3-4 hours. Lol

Well so much for that plan. The VQ internals kit was in the mailbox, but somewhere along the lines the shipping envelope got ripped/cut/sliced open and the the TK trigger is missing. USPS is looking into it and they will call back in 2-3 days with a resolution.

I suppose I could put it together with the stock trigger for now. Maybe see if the trigger is the same between the MkIII and MkIV, I’ve got an extra VQ trigger.

Looking at the Ruger Mark IV pistols, how do you decide between so many? I'd like to get something that isn't too expensive and that I can have fun with and upgrade.

    Hey Ben!
Great question: been asking myself the same one for the past 2 yrs.
Areoflyer is certainly a source of truth about .22LRs: I have bought some of his "leftovers" before and been quite happy with them.
I have bought/shot/sold dozens of .22LRs and had a blast doing so.
I am down to 6 remaining and still trimming. (getting very difficult now)
There is much love for the Ruger here (I have 2 models myself).
The Browning has been very good in my hands, both the 5.5 & the 7.25 barrel.
There is also much respect for the SW Victory also.
Enjoy finding out: the Truth is out there.
