I didn’t imply anything by the question other than I’m curious to know. The relevance to me is that if it’s a female it takes even more delusion to believe that this was the right action to take on her part. “She” looks to be alone. Listening to the audio with headphones, I kinda think it is a girl. WTF was she thinking? Did she think that her gender would prevent the natural consequences of her actions? Did she think no one would dare touch her? Or, Idunno. Maybe she had just watched Captain Marvel. Either way, a sizable dose of reality was dealt to her.

For years I've always hated when people use the b word against anyone. But lately it has grown on me. Especially when a guy uses it on a guy with just a second of a delay at the end of a sentence and to draw the word out a bit.

Now when done right, I enjoy the hell out of it. :yesway:

I may or may not have gotten a voice message like that. It was a stripper's husband. She apparently needed an excuse for why she got home so late and told him that I had blocked her car in the driveway (I hadn't). Got the big long spiel, followed by that "pause" and then the b word.

Oh, and btw, nothing happened (good or bad) :):.

So let me get this straight. The stripper had your "REAL" name and phone number?

I had a male stripper on speed dial for a while.

He could take the wax off a floor faster than anyone I've ever seen.

Just before elections last November (2018) Jonathon Sparks of Tucson was wearing a MAGA hat and carrying a sign that said "Jobs not Mobs, Vote Republican on Tuesday." Daniel Zaroes Brito came up behind him and grabbed the hat, in the process breaking Sparks' ankle. Brito then attached Sparks once more as he laid on the ground. Ankle broken in four places. In the articles Brito is identified as a "former" aide to
Democratic Socialist Representative Raúl Grijalva. I can't figure out if he was still an aide at the time of the attack. In any case, multiple people saw him attack twice and punch and kick the victim, and held Brito until police arrived.

At the time of his (missed) court appearances, Brito worked for..wait for it...RT America, which is the American-focused version of Russia Today, the Russian propaganda outfit. He hosts his own program called Boom Bust, which as far as I could let myself look into, appears to focus on western/US economics with a socialist eye.

Although employed by RT America, he convinced the judge that he was indigent and got a court-appointed lawyer because he said he could not continue paying his private lawyer. As well, he did not show up for initial court hearings because he lived in Maryland and was allowed to go home. Apparently that was OK with the court. His public defender was the head of the Public defender's office and also chair of the local Dem party, and a local political big wheel.

Brito was initially charged with robbery and aggravated assault, but in a deal pled guilty to 5th degree felony assault on an incapacitated person and theft by control, which will be reduced to a misdemeanor if he completes his probation. He was sentenced this month, on the 12th: 12 days in jail and three years probation.

Very nearly the only news source (as opposed to political blog) that seems to be writing about this is the Arizona Daily Independent, which has an obvious political slant of its own, but then they seem to be the only news source reporting on it.

I'm going to guess a civil suit/settlement is in the works or will be. The breaking of ankles is not something you just let slide.

Too bad Jonathan Sparks wasn't sufficiently in fear for his life to light the guy up
