This one's pretty tame. A few others were suggesting he be shot.

Kit O'Connell apparently doesn't know, sometimes when you hit someone, they could hit back.. harder.

Remember the guy arrested for allegedly mailing all of those "pipe bombs" last year?

    He pleaded guilty.

Considering the wall-to-wall coverage this got at the time, the guilty plea has barely been a blip in the media. I'm pretty surprised by this considering most of the recipients of the packages were Democrats, Democrat supporters and even media members.

Well, they got him, so I guess this is merely a formality.

NPR has it posted on their front page.

Including the mail fraud? Those are a bigger deal.

    Typical black/gay privilege.

Edit: ****ing what. They cite his "good work in the community" as a reason for dropping charges. **** that. **** him.

Should that have been purple. (yes.) I don't hear many black men saying, "Don't worry, I won't get convicted - I'm black!" Black men don't exactly have a track record of garnering judicial leniency...

More like typical rich celebrity privilege.

Well, he paid a fine and got out of jail.
"After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.

The separate federal charges are apparently ongoing, and hopefully bring some justice to this ****ing prick.

Chicago Police plan to issue a statement soon

"Empire Writers" official twitter account posted a screenshot of the decision with the message, "See you Wednesday!" with some emoticons or some ****.

I'm trying to describe my ire for this situation. The term "seething" isn't really getting there. Is there a better word?
